Several weeks ago I received an envelope in the mail from Jamie, containing the new Avery Elle Peonies clear stamps and matching die set. Peonies! I felt like these were made just for me. My great-grandmother Purthena's peonies bloomed in the back yard again this spring, and they smelled oh-so-good, so much sweeter than the new varieties. I admit it. I'd never used matching stamps and dies before, so this was an interesting challenge for me. And a delightful one as well. This set included a lot of great little sentiments, perfect for almost any occasion.
For the first card, I wanted to try all watercolor.
Other supplies: watercolor pre-folded card from Strathmore; pink, grass green, spectrum blue and ochre watercolor pencils from Derwent; ACo27 My Notebook stamp set from Hero Arts; black dye ink from Tsukineko
