CardMaker Blog Hop with Avery Elle

Hello!

Welcome to the next stop on our hop with CardMaker and Avery Elle.  If you've been following along, you've just come from Karolyn Loncon's blog.  If you're just joining in, be sure to start at the CardMaker blog.  You won't want to miss any of these great designs along the way.
Don't forget to enter the give-away at Avery Elle!  One lucky reader will win a $30 Avery Elle gift certificate, and that could be you!

Several weeks ago I received an envelope in the mail from Jamie, containing the new Avery Elle Peonies clear stamps and matching die set.  Peonies!  I felt like these were made just for me.  My great-grandmother Purthena's peonies bloomed in the back yard again this spring, and they smelled oh-so-good, so much sweeter than the new varieties.  I admit it.  I'd never used matching stamps and dies before, so this was an interesting challenge for me.  And a delightful one as well.   This set included a lot of great little sentiments, perfect for almost any occasion.

For the first card, I wanted to try all watercolor.

Other supplies:  watercolor pre-folded card from Strathmore; pink, grass green, spectrum blue and ochre watercolor pencils from Derwent; ACo27 My Notebook stamp set from Hero Arts; black dye ink from Tsukineko

Other supplies:  Vintage Charm stack from My Mind's Eye; Rouge and Moss Green chalk ink from Clearsnap; Paper Studio 3-D foam adhesive squares from Hobby Lobby; Grand Caliber Nestabilities Oval dies from Spellbinders

Other supplies:  ivory pre-folded card and pink shimmer cardstock from American Crafts;  Pastel Pink and Olive green chalk inks from Clearsnap;  S2-011 Shapeabilities D-lites Wrought Iron Die from Spellbinders

I love the look of chalk on kraft paper, don't you?  I think this was my favorite!

Other supplies:  Paper Studio Poetic Postage stack and kraft cardstock from Hobby Lobby; Chestnut Roan chalk ink from Clearsnap; pink and Bice green pastel pencils from General's
